Caleb Randall-Bodman is an outcomes-obsessed strategist with deep experience communicating highly nuanced, technical public policy positions — in both the private and public sectors — with a focus on national security.

Prior to founding QuestEnd Advisors, Caleb served as Communications Director for the Democratic Majority of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) and as Senior Advisor to Chairman Adam Smith (D-Wash.). In this role, Caleb developed and directed all aspects of Chairman Smith’s strategic communications operation — both in his role as Chair and in his personal office — managing a staff of five. As the Chairman’s primary spokesperson and day-to-day media contact, Caleb maintained extensive relationships with local, national, and international media working across multiple beats. As a senior member of the HASC staff, Caleb was also a trusted resource for his colleagues across the Caucus on all major national security messaging.

Before his service on Capitol Hill, Caleb was a Director at Forbes Tate Partners (FTP), perennially ranked one of the most influential firms in Washington. At FTP Caleb provided actionable public affairs and strategic communications support for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to leading political organizations, prominent trade associations, advocacy coalitions, and nonprofits with priorities across a broad policy portfolio including health care, energy, tax, trade, natural resources, and gaming.

Caleb started his career in politics at No Labels — a centrist, non-partisan advocacy organization — after a brief internship with then Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), which was an eye-opening opportunity that quickly confirmed the Democratic Party better reflected his values.

As a proud graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio he maintains an affinity for the Midwest despite growing up in Portland, Oregon and Boulder, Colorado.

Outside of work, you can find Caleb playing pickleball, tennis, or running with his partner, who is a far superior athlete, but still agrees to play with him.
